I'll Miss You

It's been a while since I last cried. Today ended that period. It was Sarah's and my last day together as a couple. We put our relationship away while I head off to college in 3 days. Today was perfect. We had one of the best days ever together. She surprised me and made me a priceless photo scrap book, that I will keep and cherrish for ever. I love her from the bottom of my heart and nothing will ever change that. We will keep in touch and I look forward to seeing her when I return over thanksgiving. The memories speak for themselves and I have loved everymoment that I've spent with her and everyone else in my life.

Love and Marriage

Yesterday was my first time being a professional photographer, taking pictures for money. I assited one of my bosses, Abby, in attending the wedding of a local couple, Andy and Ann. The wedding was in their beautiful backyard forest haven that had been cleared out and made into a a fantastic place for a wedding. After the wedding we attended a reception that took place at Delhi Metro Park, a place that I was incredibly firmiliar with because I've run 10K's from there and my school's yearly field day trip always took place there. After about 9 hours and 45 mins of taking pictures straight, I only took a little over 300 pictures and most of them were pretty damn good. I was satisfied with a few and I'll be using some for my own portfolio. The next phase is to see if the bride/Grooms family wants any of them for print. I am hoping for them to want just 1 of my pictures, that would make my day. In other news, my mac is currently in the shop because I'm pretty sure the hard drive is fried. More news on that later. Today I am saying fairwell for a week. I am heading off to Cold Water Lake to have one last "hoo rah" with Sarah and her entire family before I head off to the farmlands of Miami-although that's still a month and a half away-see you all friday night when I return.I won't be able to show or edit those pictures of the wedding until I get my computer back unfortunatly, so anyone interested will have to be patient.

I feel like being creative

So I went to the photoshop seminar and it was incredible. I got to meet all of the people who create the programs I love and use : Photoshop and Lightroom. I also won some Software worth $200 that I can use to help me make my photos look cooler. I have some cool flower pics and I have some pics of T5E and Evan rapping so I feel like I should finally settle down and do some photography. I've gotten a lot of other things accomplished this summer that I wanted to so far. I've done a lot more reading than I ever imagined posssible, I've worked out a lot more then I expected, and I've cought up on a lot my more nerdy hobbies. How is everyone else's summer going? It's sort of weird to thinking I am leaving for college around 50 days from now.

It's About Damn Time

So I decided that it was time for an update on everything that has been going on in my life. Prom in sum it up was pefect. Our group got a hummer limo which was ridiculous, we went to Champion House for a Hibachi style dinner and we spent the night at my house. I finished the school year and graduation was great and so was my(with RuRu, Luke and Dean) party for it. So far this summer I have gone to the pool, chilled with a bunch of people, developed a passion for frisbee, worked, and gone to freshman orientation at Miami of Ohio. College is going to be awesome and I am very excited for it. I created a facebook, look me up. I went to the women's football academy for a photo shoot the other day, I helped my boss with some business things while she shot the photos. I got to tlak to Lloyd Carr and I got to take some picutres with the football players all while eating free Outback Steak house food. It was a good day. It feels weird that the begining of my life is starting to take off. Today in the Barns and Noble parking lot some lady came up to me saying that her 8 year old daughter was waiting for her some where, but the lady's car had a flat tire and she needed 15 dollars to get someone to fix it. She looked like she was going to freak out so I gave her 9. I wonder if she was trying to scam me, but she seemed quite serious. I am hoping to receive a lot of good karma in return. I've come to one conclusion as stupid as it may be to think about the world of internet blogging. I've decided that face book is sweet for meeting and keeping in touch with friends, xanga is good for journalistic style writing and myspace just sucks.
